Ngāti Rangitihi endorses Te Puna Ora O Mataatua

Te Puna Ora o Matatatua recieves endorsement of Te Mana o Ngāti Rangitihi.

Te Puna Ora o Matatatua is pleased to recieve the endorsement of Te Mana o Ngāti Rangitihi to provide healthcare services in Matata Township.

The first phase will involve establishing a Medical GP Clinic in Matata. Starting on 13 March 2018 the clinic will be based at the Resource Centre on Wilson Street. It will operate Tuesdays and Thursdays each week between 8.30am to 10.30am. No appointments required – it will be a walk-in service.

The key feature of this service will be the delivery of prescription medicine back to the Resource Centre in the afternoon for patients to pick-up. This aims to improve access to healthcare and reduce the inconvenience of traveling in Whakatane or surrounding townships.

The second phase, which will commence at a later date, will involve the roll-out of our other services including Homebase Support, ACC, Driving Academy and so forth to the local Matata community.
