Te Puna Ora o Mataatua launches Maara Kai wānanga

He kai kei aku ringa!

He kai kei aku ringa!

We’re proud to whakamana our Mataatua whānau to provide kai for their own whare in sustainable and innovative ways.

As part of this mahi, we shared our first Maara Kai wānanga with 21 Mataatua whānau this week.

The session was led by Mate and Sonny Heitia from REKA, who introduced our whānau to the important history and role of Maara in te ao Māori.
