He taonga nui te aroha.
Ngā Mata Wai Ora, the counselling and therapy hub of Te Puna Ora o Mataatua, and Whānau Ora, our social services team, are hosting Te Taonga o te Aroha, December 2-5.
This kaupapa is focused on uplifting and providing tautoko to whānau throughout the Kirihimete season.
Join us for a week of FREE kaupapa including hauora & mahi toi wānanga as well as koha for the whole whānau.
Monday 2 December | Te Rau Aroha 9a James Street, Whakatāne
- Join us for koha to ease the stress.
- Koha Kirihimete, White Elephant stall, barbecue kai and more.
Tuesday 3 December | Acacia House 19 Louvain Street, Whakatāne
- Join us for workshops to create gifts for your whānau.
- Mahi toi – raranga, rongoā, crystal necklaces and more.
Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 December | Whakatāne
- Whānau studio portraits
- 30-minute session
- Digital gallery of whakaahua as taonga for the whānau

30 Minute Whanau Photo Sessions Date: Wednesday 4 December 2024 & Thursday 5 December 2024 We kindly ask that you please arrive 5 minutes prior to your booking. If you’re late to the session, please understand that the duration of your session will still remain as your indicated session end time. You will receive digital photos that will be emailed to you following your session.
