Procurement Officer I Full Time, Permanent

Do you have a sharp eye for optimising costs? Do you have great negotiating skills that will ensure we’re getting our bang for buck? Due to the growth of our organisation, we’ve created this role to help streamline the financial efficiency across our services.

As Procurement Officer, you’ll work within the finance team, managing all external supplier relationships, negotiating contracts for favourable terms, and ensuring all purchase orders and commitments are coded correctly. As this is a new role, you would ideally come with a background in finance or procurement, which will help you set up robust systems and processes for everyone to follow.

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Has strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Has an ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Has an understanding of risk management
  • Has a focus on enhancing sustainability
  • Is experienced in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management
