Our Training and Medical academy, Te Ara Mahi, prepares tauira (students) with a hands-on learning style, offering a high-quality training programme that provides pathways into several areas across the health sector.

The focus of this role is to provide pathways for our support workers, nursing, and midwifery students to staircase into higher vocational, tertiary, and employment opportunities.

You will help customise and deliver dedicated training and Whānau Ora plans to support our tauira complete their Year 1, 2, and 3 qualifications.

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in the general health sector
  • Can facilitate group and 1:1 sessions
  • Can successfully create and build a rapport with stakeholders
  • Can convey information ā waha as well as in report format.
