Nēhi Rehita – Te Tairāwhiti

Registered Nurse – Homebased and ACC Support Services  I Casual roles available

Te Tairāwhiti rohe

Our Homebased Support Service is the largest service in our hauora, with over 400 Support Workers caring for over 700 whānau in their homes. Our point of difference is that we  consider a whānau choice model of care, if our criteria is met. Our services are delivered through a Kaupapa Māori lens, with the majority of our clients being pakeke.

Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua have recently partnered with ACC to deliver wound care support to whānau within Te Tairāwhiti rohe.

We’re proud of the mahi that we do for our communities, which is why we’re looking for purpose driven Registered Nurses to join our team. For this role we’re looking for Registered Nurses to support our wound care contract with the treatment, prevention and education of wound care for whānau. To enjoy this mahi you would ideally be comfortable working in the homes of kuia and kaumātua with a high understanding of cultural competency.

This mahi would be great for someone who is looking for extra work on the side.

Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua are based in the Bay of Plenty, so this would be a casual remote role. As such, we’re open to exploring what that could look like for you. If you’re an individual and you have an alignment to our values, then karanga mai! We’d love to hear from you.
