Tarawera Medical Centre was established in 1989 and is situated in the heart of Kawerau. With 4,500 patients enrolled in the practice, Tarawera Medical Centre plays a pivotal role in supporting the Kawerau community’s health and wellbeing. In March 2024, the practice was purchased by Te Puna Manawa o Tarawera, a joint partnership between Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua, Tūwharetoa Mai Kawerau Ki Te Tai and Green Cross Health.

Tarawera Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. For this role you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled and trusted clinicians who are committed to bridging the health inequities that our Māori communities face.
