Fee Increase for Non-Community Service Card Holders 18+ at Rehua Medical

Fee Increase for Non-Community Service Card Holders 18+

From Monday, 3rd February 2025, consultation fees at Rehua Medical will increase for patients aged 18 and over who do not hold a Community Services Card, due to rising costs.

Fees for GP consults will now move from $18.50 to $29.50.

Additionally, nurse practitioner consultations are now the same price as GP consultations.

E te whānau, we want you to know this decision has not been made lightly. Over the last year, government funding increased by just 4%, while operating costs for our services rose by more than 9%.

Despite holding off on any fee increases for the past five years, we now need to align with other medical practices in Mataatua to ensure we can continue providing quality care.

Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these changes.

Ngā mihi nui,
Te tīma o Rehua Medical
