Ōpōtiki hosts first I Roto i te Pōuri Te Maramataka e Whiti ana Wānanga

Koinei te wānanga tuatahi o ‘i Roto i te Pōuri te Maramataka e Whiti Ana’.

This kaupapa was hosted by our whānau in Ōpōtiki under the influence of Ouenuku te toru here piripi.

The kaupapa was a chance to introduce our whānau to Maramataka Māori as a preventative model for suicide, hei wāhi wānanga haumaru, hei manaaki ngā whānau who have lived experience.

Ka nui te mihi ki te hau kāinga, ki a Te Rina Ransfield – The Maramataka Mum, ki a Jamie Sullivan, ā, ki ngā ringa raupa o tēnei kaupapa whakahirahira.
