A wonderful weekend in Te Teko at the Mataatua Kapahaka Regionals concluded on Sunday 19 February 2018 with Ōpotiki mai Tawhiti being crowned the overall winners. Congratulations to the four additional teams heading to Matatini 2019 to represent Mataatua - Ruatoki, Tutarakauika ki Rangataua, Te Whānau a Apanui and Tauiramaitawhiti.  We wish to congratulate all eighteen kapa haka teams who performed on the Saturday and Sunday.
