Manawa Tāne is the begnning of a journey toward deeper connection, cultural grounding and collective growth for our tāne and future generations.
The programme is being launched at a one-day wānanga led by Moko Savage on 20 November from 10am-2pm at the Whakatāne Lyceum Club, 58 Domain Road.
The day will open with a kōrero introducing the kaupapa and inducting the rōpū into the programme. An influential speaker will follow with a kōrero shaped around the identity of tāne – exploring how tāne see themselves and how they perceive others.
Manawa Tāne is a new programme managed through Ngā Mata Wai Ora – Counselling & Therapy Service here at Te Puna Ora o Mataatua.
