Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua is the leading regional Māori health and wellbeing provider in the country. Established in 1991, Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua delivers an integrated range of community health, general medical, homebased, and social services within the Mātaatua rohe.

He aha te tūnga | About the role

Te Puna Ora has grown exponentially over the past few years, but that hasn’t been without its challenges. The biggest being, ensuring our back-of-house systems are fit-for-purpose for our growing organisation. Up until now, we have outsourced our IT support but we are now at a stage where some of that mahi needs to be brought in-house.

So for this role, we’re looking for an IT-savvy person who can take our systems and IT to the next level. As our IT Lead, you will spearhead all things “systems and technology”, as you drive our IT strategy, ensuring our whānau records are seamlessly integrated across the organisation. Your expertise will help us work smarter, creating efficiencies that minimise time and resources. Above all, you will ensure our data integrity is upheld and maintained at all times, all while educating our kaimahi on IT practices.

Ngā pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a tertiary qualification in IT or Computer Science
  • Has technical expertise in IT including cyber security, network, server, software, Integration and cloud technologies
  • Has proven experience supporting organisations with IT systems.
