Our Taiohi, Rangatahi programme helps rangatahi learn to prioritise their hauora, encouraging them to engage fully in kura and life after kura.
The programme will include six two-day wānanga held throughout each school holiday.
These wānanga will help rangatahi to explore themes such as confidence, assertiveness, respect, life issues, school, work, drugs and alcohol. It will also draw upon elements of Te Ao Māori kaupapa including mana and mauri building, as well as external support from carvers, weavers, Rongoā experts and kaumātua, budgeting advisors, bakers and cooks and entrepreneurs.
