Our Media and Communications Team is the voice of Te Puna Ora, informing and motivating the community across all things hauora.  Their creativity and flair is crucial to ensuring messages are relevant and inspiring, ranging from Hauora mō ngā Kaumātua to Rangatahi inspiration to public events and public safety.

The Kaiārahi Hunga Papāhō, Whakawhiti Whakaaro is responsible for raising awareness of our services to ensure the right information is available for everyone, from whānau, hapū, iwi to internal reporting. As part of a dynamic Media and Communications team, this role is high-energy as your coordination supports undertaking day-to-day tasks that can change quickly according to need.

Te Puna Ora o Mataatua takes pride in the innovative and exceptional messaging quality to Mataatua rohe, whānau whānui.  As Kaiārahi Pāpaho, you will have the opportunity to allow your co-ordination and creativity to thrive.

Ngā pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience

For this mahi, we are looking for someone who can:

  • Co-ordinate all communications, media, and collateral
  • Co-ordinate communications projects, both big and small, and liaise with contractors
  • Support the team with all internal and external communications and branding
  • Take and process photos, creating content, editing our website and social media
  • Produce reports on our metrics across platforms
  • Raise awareness and ensure all communication fits our values and branding and above all, ensure a kaupapa Māori feel across all comms.
