Our Rangatahi Hub is always abuzz with excitement, innovation, creativity and manaaki. Filled with the laughter of youth and kaimahi alike, Rangatahi are supported to create their own customised pathways and plans, helping them to progress with their education, training, and employment aspirations. Supporting Rangatahi is our number one goal at the Hub, and our customised plans are a combination of different building blocks, designed to support youth development across Mātaatua.
We provide Rangatahi with access to a range of free wraparound services such as Driving Academy, Counselling, Medical Health Care, Mātauranga, Life Skills, Nutrition and so much more. Our Rangatahi Hub Team are a well-oiled machine that continuously exceeds their KPIs but, importantly, celebrates the successes of many Rangatahi which is a reflection of their dedication and commitment.
This Team Leader role is crucial to supporting the Rangatahi Hub whānau to deliver exciting, effective, and meaningful services for Rangatahi and their whānau; forging employment pathways and holistic wellbeing for Rangatahi; and ensuring the key deliverables of our many service contracts are fulfilled.
The ability to identify and empathise with vulnerable Rangatahi and their whānau is an important quality for this role, as is strong team leadership and the ability to network and build relationships that will benefit our Rangatahi in the community. Some industry experience or proven Rangatahi success would be a bonus!

- Enjoys working in an exciting, high-energy-filled Rangatahi environment
- Has proven leadership experience
- Has proven experience analysing and conveying information, and report writing
- Can successfully build a rapport with stakeholders
