He aha te tūnga | About the role

Now that our new purpose-built Rehua Medical Centre is fully operational, we’re looking for another front-of-house superstar.

This is an exciting and rather “hybrid” role, where some days you’ll be based at our Medical Centre (Rehua Medical), and other days you’ll be working in our Mobile GP Unit (Rehua Nuku Ora), supporting our whānau in need, living in those hard-to-reach pockets of Mātaatua rohe.

Your mahi will include taking phone calls, recalling whanau for health checks, scheduling appointments, and being a friendly, welcoming face for our manuhiri. We are a fast-moving hauora that responds to the ever-changing needs of our hāpori, so the ability to adapt to changes, thrive under pressure, and enjoy a challenge are important to us.

Nga pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience

For this mahi, we are looking for the following skills:

  • Basic admin experience (preferably in a clinical setting, but not essential)
  • Someone who is personable and enjoys working within a team
  • Complete confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Values that align to our kaupapa and the basic principles of Te Ao Māori.
