Our Te Ara Mahi Team is renowned for providing training for whānau that is high quality and supportive, ensuring quality of qualifications and licencing, while also supporting manaakitanga, wairuatanga and whānaungatanga.   The Tuakana, Teina workforce development kaupapa is one of many programmes within Te Ara Mahi to support whānau in their hauora qualifications pathway.

As Kaiāwhina Tuakana, Teina, you will support our Te Ara Mahi team in day-to-day administration tasks, specifically with the Tuakana, Teina project. The role includes assisting with project management, supporting and coordinating various wānanga and scheduling of follow-up appointments between whānau and facilitators.  Your exceptional organisational skills will be essential in keeping the Tuakana, Teina project on track, meeting deadlines, and celebrating the success of whānau.

Ngā pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience

For this mahi, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong commitment to manaaki tangata
  • Has an advanced level of literacy in office systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Has strong time management
  • Has strong data-entry skills
  • Experience working in client management systems, such as MedTech, and Ara Whānui/Client Management Systems
