Kaitohutohu Waka Rangatahi

Driving Instructor – Permanent, Full-time

Te Waka Rangatahi Driving Academy operates out of our Rangatahi Hub in King Street Kopeopeo and aims to support Rangatahi to achieve their Full Class one Private Vehicle Licences.

In this role, you will lead our driving academy and facilitate the education and upskilling of Rangatahi to successfully achieve their driver’s licences through group study sessions, theory lessons and practical driving lessons.

For this mahi, we are looking for someone who:

• Holds a full Class One Private Vehicle Licence and I Endorsement (preferred but not essential)
• Has experience teaching Rangatahi how to drive
• Will ensure the programme aligns with industry standards and organisational requirements
• Will motivate, encourage and support Rangatahi within this programme
• Will promote and enhance the success of the Driving Academy within Mātaatua rohe.
