Te Puna Ora o Mataatua were proud to be major sponsors again of Ngāti Awa Te Toki.
We would like to congratulate Ngā Maihi for being the overall winners for 2019.
The event was held at Rugby Park, Whakatāne over Labour Weekend and had one of its biggest turn-outs from Ngāti Awa whānui.
Once again, TPOOM were responsible for providing Medical Services and running the Kaumatua Tent across the two days. TPOOM also began its research project on Mataatua Well-Being, surveying patrons in the crowd.
TPOOM also partnered with Tūmeke FM in live streaming the event across various online platforms.
