Ngā Mata Wai Ora Counselling Service brings Māori healing modalities to Mataatua

Tūkaha te wairua kia rere Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

E koekoe te tūī, e ketekete te kākā, e kūkū te kererū.

The tūī squawks, the kākā chatters, the kererū coos.

Everyone is unique and special. Be accepting and non-judgemental of others differences and learn to live cohesively like our manu.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2022 we were honoured to share space with rangatahi and pakeke throughout Mataatua nurturing an environment where our people learned and participated in our kaupapa Māori healing modalities such as rongoā Māori, rārānga, breathwork and meditation. The kōrero and time shared allowed us to understand the importance of whanaungatanga, embrace the mauri of wairuatanga, learn and stimulate our hinengaro and replenish our tinana with good kai.

Tēnei te mihi aroha ki ngā kura, ngā whānau katoa i tae mai ki ngā kaupapa nei.

We will continue to provide a kaupapa māori clinical and therapeutic counselling service for rangatahi and adults across Mataatua.

Contact us today on 0800 MATAATUA (628 228) ext 4.
