From Monday 18 November 2019 the community health and social services team, that have been located at McGarvey Road, will be moving down to 92 King Street, Kopeopeo (behind the Tū Māia Rangatahi Hub).
Services located at 92 King Street include—
- Integration Team
- Oranga Tamariki
- Whānau Ora
- Social Housing
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Research
- Mama & Pēpi
- Health Promotion
- Kuia and Koroua
At the same time, our Homebase and ACC team, will return to 84 McGarvey Road for a short period, moving out of Concordia House on Pyne Street.
Phase Two: Homebase, ACC, Administration and Finance Teams.
Early in the new year, the Homebase and ACC team, will eventually move to Kopeopeo as well. Additionally, the Māori Womens Welfare League (Waiāriki Branch) and Mataatua Sports will also have a presence at our location.
Phase Three: Med Central
Then mid-year 2020, its expected that Med Central GP Service will move across to the Hub as well.
Having all our services in the same location will allow improved workflow and integration of our services; and enable a more effective and efficient whānau ora approach to improving the well-being of clients and whānau.
